Every paid Gumlet plan just got cheaper by at least 30% and, in some cases, by more than 75%. The streaming quota went up on every tier. DRM is now an add-on, so you only pay for it if you actually use it.
Video infrastructure should work like a utility. Predictable, fair, and cheap enough that the cost stops being a reason teams put off scaling. We've spent years removing the technical barriers to streaming video at scale. Today, the cost barrier comes down, too.
We thoughtfully curated this for you
Free is an excellent choice for anyone new to Gumlet. With 4K streaming, HDR10, AI-generated subtitles, and geo-blocking included from day one, it's perfect for anyone looking for a powerful video infrastructure experience without the upfront commitment.
Creator plan is designed for solo creators who want their videos to feel like an extension of their brand. With no Gumlet logo, no watermarks, and full API access, it's perfect for someone looking to ship a polished, branded video experience on their own site or app.
Growth is our most popular plan, built for teams running video as a core part of their product or marketing. It's where most teams land and stay as they scale their video operations day-to-day.
Business is built for streaming to millions. In-depth analytics, dynamic watermarking, VAST tag support, and live chat, the things you actually need when video is running at scale, without DRM bundled into the price for teams that don't need it. Add it for $99/month if you do.
Why we unbundled DRM
When we looked at how our Business customers were actually using their plans, we noticed something: about half weren't using DRM at all. They were paying for it anyway, because bundling premium features into a single price has long been the industry standard.
We thought there was a better way. So we've pulled DRM out of the base Business plan and reduced the plan price by 50%. Customers who don't need DRM no longer pay for it. Customers who do can add it for a flat $99/month, which includes 100,000 views, with additional views at $1 per 1,000.
For context, the industry average for the same Widevine and FairPlay protection is around $500/month, and on some platforms, the price isn't published at all.
Why we're doing this
The video hosting market is consolidating. Platforms are getting acquired by holding companies whose job is to extract more revenue per customer, not build better infrastructure. While other platforms are restructuring under new owners, we're going the other way. Gumlet has spent the last few years building the technical layer. GPU-based transcoding, one-click DRM, adaptive streaming that just works. Pricing was the next thing to fix. Most platforms treat their pricing page as a revenue lever to be tightened over time. We treat it as part of the product, and the product has gotten cheaper because we've become more efficient at running it.
That's the whole thinking. No promo period, no fine print, no quiet bumps at renewal. Migrations from other platforms have tripled this year, and we'd like to earn the next wave the same way, by being the kind of platform you don't dread renewing.

Streaming and quality that does the heavy lifting for your marketing
Viewers abandon a video after about two seconds of buffering, and every additional second of startup delay adds roughly 6% more drop-off. The quality of the player and the network behind it is doing more for your conversion rate than most marketing teams realize, which is why the same encoding, the same protocols, and the same 4K pipeline ship on every Gumlet plan.

Protect the content you've worked hard to make
Video piracy is a multi-billion-dollar problem, and most of it doesn't come from sophisticated attacks; it comes from a link being shared, a download button being right-clicked, or an embed showing up on a domain it shouldn't. Course creators, broadcasters, and SaaS teams lose real revenue this way every month. The defenses for it are well understood; they just shouldn't be locked behind a sales call.

AI & engagement
AI has changed what a video hosting platform is expected to do. Subtitles, translation, chapters, and description generation - once manual post-production steps - are now built into the pipeline. For a typical 40-minute video, AI cuts the work from several hours to a few minutes and does it automatically. Teams using AI-native video platforms publish 3 to 5 times more content per quarter without adding headcount.
